In an effort to be as transparent as possible with my amazing customers, I have written the following terms to set expectations for my longarm services. If any of these are unclear, I encourage customers to reach out to me with questions/comments.

Policy

  • Turnaround is 1-3 weeks with the exception of projects requiring custom quilting which can take longer.
  • Customers are financially responsible for the cost of services as stated and understand that the payment is due in full whenever you pick up your quilt or it is prepared for shipping. Quilts will not be returned until payment is complete. We accept cash, check, Mastercard, Discover, and Visa.
  • Once the work is complete, we will immediately make (and document) several attempts to reach you, but quilts left longer than 30 days after service completion will be considered abandoned and the property of Country Ivie Stitchery.
  • If the quilt is displayed in a show or publication, you agree to credit the machine quilting to Country Ivie Stitchery.

Disclaimers

  • Fullness/puckers cannot always be quilted out; we do not guarantee they will not be sewn in. In some cases, excessive fullness may cause the quilt not to be square.
  • Sewing machines are mechanical devices and thus capable of failure even with careful maintenance. I take special care of my Delilah to prevent these, but the chances of something going wrong are never zero. No seamstress can promise that.
  • Like Delilah, I am not perfect, and quilting is an inexact art. Minor imperfections are normal and expected.
